The characters show wonderful qualities such as bravery, loyalty, perseverance and sacrifice, but death still occurs in nearly every chapter. Harry and his friends also get heavily injured but still continue to fight. Harry gets to know many secrets Dumbledore and Severus Snape had kept from him.
